Are you tired of manually inputting contact information into Google Sheets? Well, you're in luck! In this article, we'll show you how to automate this process using Snitcherโ€™s Auto-reveal automation, Zapier, and Google Sheets.

Follow our step-by-step guide and save time by having contacts automatically revealed and transferred to your Google Sheets.

What You'll Need

Before we dive into the setup, make sure you have the following:

๐Ÿ‘‰ Buyer Persona and Segment: Setup a buyer persona here - Setup a segment here

๐Ÿ‘‰ Zapier Premium Account: You can use a professional trial if you don't have a premium account yet.

๐Ÿ‘‰ Google Sheets: Have a Google Sheet ready with the necessary columns (e.g., First Name, Last Name, Email, Job Title).

Create a Webhook Endpoint with Zapier

  1. Create a New Zap Flow:

    • Go to Zapier and click "Create Zap."

    • Select the trigger button and add a new webhook.

  2. Set Up the Webhook:

    • Choose "Catch Hook" as the event.

    • Go over the Test Button and copy the generated webhook URL.

Integrate Webhook with Snitcher

  1. Go to Snitcher Settings:

  2. Configure the Webhook:

    • Name it something like "Zapier for Google Sheets."

    • Paste the webhook URL you copied from Zapier.

    • Then, create the webhook .

What's Next?

Now we need to set up an automation in Snitcher, to send the contacts to Zapier via the webhook.

Setting up the automation Snitcher

  1. Create Automation:

    • In Snitcher, click on "Add an Automation."

    • Set up the automation to tigger on a "new lead"

    • Select the Segment you'd like to target

    • Select "Reveal Contacts" (right at the bottom of the page)

๐Ÿ’ก To learn more about how automations work, check out this guide or copy the example below.

2. Configure Contact Reveal:

  • Select the buyer persona you'd like to use.

  • Decide how many contacts you want to reveal per company (e.g. three).

  • Select the webhook you created as the external destination and save.

Test the Webhook

Head Back to Zapier:

  • Test the payload to ensure the webhook is working.

๐Ÿšจ This test is dependant on the automation we just setup. It might take a while before any companies trigger the automation and send the data to Zapier.

Creating a loop step in Zapier

  1. Add a Looping Action in Zapier:

    • Select "Looping by Zapier" then select and event "create loop from line items".

    • Define the data fields you want to send across the webhook (first name, last name, email, etc.).

  2. Map Data to Google Sheets:

    • Add Google Sheets and setup the actions you want to take.

      • You'll need to connect your Google account for this to work.

      • Also, have the file ready to go.

Final Steps:

  1. Connect Google Sheets:

    • Select your Google Sheets file and ensure it has headers like "Email," "First Name," "Last Name," and "Job Title."

  2. Complete the Setup:

    • Connect each data field from the loop to the appropriate column in Google Sheets.

    • Click "Continue" and test the integration.

  3. Verify in Google Sheets:

    • Check your Google Sheets to see if the contacts are being added as expected.

Enjoy the Automation

That's it! You've successfully set up an automated system to reveal contacts and send them to Google Sheets using Snitcher, Zapier, and Google Sheets. If you have any questions, refer to the step-by-step guide above or use the template provided.
