Adding tags to your leads is a great way to keep things organized and is even more powerful when combined with Segments.

In this article, we will cover how to:

Adding a tag

Press the Add tag button on the lead's profile:

Then select one of your existing tags, or create a new one using the form. We have included a few commonly used tags by default:

Filtering on tags

Click the 'Add Filter' button, and use the 'Tag' filter to match on desired tags:

For example, if you want to keep an eye on competitors visiting your website, you can use the following tag filter:

Next, click 'Save as smart segment' to create a 'Competitors' segment.

Then you can configure an automated segment report for your 'Competitors' segment to be kept in the loop whenever a competitor checks out your website!

๐Ÿ’ก Check out the Account List Tracking feature if you would like to stay up to date on a list of companies you already have. Examples include, competitors, key accounts and old or lost deals.

Managing tags

Go to the Tags Settings page to re-order, edit or remove your tags:
