Pairing the hot leads from Snitcher with an outbound platform like Apollo isn't just a smart moveโ€”it's one of the final pieces of the puzzle to booking meetings with website visitors.

In just 5 minutes, youโ€™ll be able to connect these two platforms - enabling you to add contacts to email campaigns, call leads, or automate your outreach efforts.

Before We Begin ๐Ÿ“š

Ensure you've already completed the following:

โœ”๏ธ Created an Apollo account - Sign up here

โœ”๏ธ Setup Lead Scoring - 5 minutes

โœ”๏ธ Setup Buyer Personas - 3 minutes

โœ”๏ธ How to book meetings with Leads - 5 minutes

Who is this suited for?

  • Account Executives

  • Sales Development Representatives

  • Sales Enablement

What will this do?

This integration is a 1-way sync that allows you to send a contact (email address) to the Apollo platform.

In Apollo you'll find the contact in a list named Snitcher, where you can leverage the platform for your outreach activities.

Step 1: Generating an Apollo API token

To get the ball rolling, we need an API token so Snitcher can talk to Apollo. This can be found in the Apollo platform by heading to settings -> integrations -> api.

After clicking "API Key" you'll have the option to create a new API token.

Copy the token that's generated and head back to Snitcher.

Step 2: Connecting Apollo to Snitcher

With your API token in hand, head over to Snitcher's Integrations page.

Spot the Apollo integration? Click on it, and paste your API token. Hit 'Save', and just like that, you're ready to start sending leads to Apollo!

Step 3: Sending contacts from Snitcher to Apollo

Now the fun begins, head back to the Snitcher dashboard and find a high intent company you'd like to contact

๐Ÿ’ก If you haven't setup high intent filters yet, check out our Lead scoring guide.

Click "People" to see everyone that works at the company.

๐Ÿšจ Since you're already an expert at picking the right person to contact (thanks to the how to book meetings with leads guide) we won't dive into those details.

Once you've identified the best prospects, sending them to Apollo is just a few clicks away.

๐Ÿ‘‰ Select the people you'd like to send to Apollo by clicking the sticky boxes next to their name.

๐Ÿ‘‰ Now the "Send to..." button will be available, where you can reveal the email addresses.

๐Ÿšจ Pro tip - Only revealed email addresses can be sent to other platforms

๐Ÿ‘‰ Now the email addresses are revealed - Click "send to Apollo" and just like that, you've got Snitcher contacts waiting for you in Apollo!

Step 4: Finding the contacts in Apollo

With all these hot leads waiting to be contacted, it's time find them in Apollo and start prospecting.

Snitcher sends the contacts to an "Apollo list". To find the contacts, head over to Apollo and click "Search". You'll see filters pop up, where you can search for a list called "Snitcher".

In this list you'll see all the contacts Snitcher has sent to Apollo.

Step 5: Sorting the contacts by date

If you've added multiple contacts over several days, you'll notice these contacts aren't sorted by date. As the list gets bigger, you're going to struggle to find the people that were recently sent from Snitcher.

Don't worry, these contacts haven't turned into a needle in a haystack ๐Ÿ˜ฎโ€๐Ÿ’จ

You can sort the leads by "date created". To do this, make sure you're still filtering on the "Snitcher list" and click "More Filters"

From there, search for "Contact Created Date" and you'll be able to select a date range or even a time frame to sort the leads.

๐Ÿ’ก As a best practice, we suggest removing the contacts from the Snitcher list after outreach has started. This will keep the list clean for other team members and allow the sales engine to keep running smoothly.

Now you have a list of people in Apollo that potentially visited your website, sorted by date, and ready to be contacted!
