Getting the most out of the Snitcher MCP: use cases & example prompts

This guide shows what our customers actually use the Snitcher MCP for, grouped the way you already work.

Written by Frencheska Peren

Once you've connected Snitcher to your AI assistant, you can work with your visitor data by just asking, no dashboards, exports or filter-building needed.

If you haven't connected it yet, start with the MCP setup guide.

A couple of things to know first

  • It costs nothing extra to ask. Reading your data and running prompts uses your AI assistant's own usage, there's no additional Snitcher cost. The one exception is revealing a contact's email, which uses reveal credits just like it does in the app (1 credit per email). Phone numbers aren't revealed through the assistant, those stay in the app.

  • Point it at a segment, not your whole account. You'll get sharper answers, and it keeps your assistant's own usage down. "Look at my ICP + Intent segment" beats "look at everything."

  • Every change is previewed first. When you ask it to create a segment, reveal emails, sync to your CRM or update your scorecard, it shows you what will happen (and any credit cost) and waits for your go-ahead.

  • It works even better with your other tools. If your assistant is also connected to your CRM or a doc tool, it can use those as inputs too, for example reading your target accounts from your CRM instead of a pasted list. That part depends on your assistant's own connections, not Snitcher.

  • Some prompts can be made recurring. Where that makes sense, we've added a line you can tack on. Whether your assistant can actually run on a schedule depends on the assistant; most of the major ones support scheduled tasks.

Set up your account

Good for getting started: give the assistant your own context and it configures the foundations, your ICP scorecard, buyer personas and core segments, that everything else runs on.

Give the assistant your own context, your ICP and who buys from you, and it helps you configure the foundations that everything else runs on.

Your ICP scorecard (how Snitcher scores fit):

  • "Here's our ICP documentation: [paste or upload]. Help me set up my ICP scorecard in Snitcher, ask me anything you need."

  • "We sell [product] to [who typically buys]. Walk me through building my ICP scorecard and update it once we agree."
If your CRM is connected: "Look at our closed-won accounts in the CRM, find what they have in common, and use that to help me build my scorecard."

Your buyer personas (the people to surface at each company):

  • "Here are the job titles of the people we usually sell to: [paste]. Build buyer personas from these."

  • "We sell [product] to [role] at [type of company]. Help me build a buyer persona for the people who typically make that decision."
If your CRM is connected: "Pull the job titles of the primary contacts on our customer accounts from the CRM and build personas from those."

Your core segments:

  • "Create my core segments: one for A+ and A companies on buying pages, one for good-fit companies that never filled in a form, and one that excludes customers and competitors."

See who's on your site

Good for sales and SDRs working a daily list: see who's worth acting on first, best-fit first, instead of scrolling the inbox.

Get the companies worth your attention surfaced for you, best-fit first, instead of scrolling the inbox.

  • "Which A+ and A companies visited since my last check? Show pages viewed, time on site and traffic source, best fit first."
Make it recurring: add "Run this every morning and include everything since the previous run, so nothing from weekends or overnight is missed."

  • "From my [target] segment, what's new in the last hour and what did they look at?"

💡 Housekeeping tip: if you run a version of this often, ask the assistant to save it as a segment, then you can tag, sync or alert on it instead of re-asking.

Ask questions about your data in plain language

Good for marketers and managers who want an answer without building a report.
Quick answers without exports or reports.

  • "How many A+ and A companies visited this week compared with last week?"

  • "Which companies in my 'Lost deals' segment came back this month, and what did they look at?"

  • "Has [company domain] visited our site? When, how often, which pages?"

  • "Here are the domains of our open deals: [paste]. Which were on the site in the last 30 days, and what did they read?"

💡 If your CRM is connected: "Take our open-deal accounts straight from the CRM and tell me which were on the site in the last 30 days."

Turn the companies you care about into a segment

Good for anyone who works the same group repeatedly: describe it once, save it, then reuse it for alerts, retargeting, CRM syncs or a rep's list.

Describe the group in plain words, save it once, then reuse it, for alerts, retargeting, CRM syncs or a rep's daily list, without rebuilding the filter each time. It previews the match count before saving.

  • "Create a segment of A+ and A companies that visited the pricing or demo page in the last 14 days. Exclude anything tagged Customer or Competitor. Show me how many match before you save it."

  • "Build a segment of good-fit companies that read any of these posts in the last 7 days but never filled in a form: [paste URLs]."

  • "Build a segment for ad retargeting: companies in our target industries with 200+ employees seen in the last 180 days. Exclude customers, competitors and anyone who only visited the careers page."

  • "For each owner in our CRM, create a segment of their companies that visited in the last 30 days, excluding customers." (One segment per rep.)

  • "Save a segment of A+ to B companies that use [technology]."

Find the right people at a company

Good for reps ready to contact an account: get to the decision-makers before you spend any credits.

Narrow a company's contacts to the decision-makers before you spend any credits.

  • "Who are the HR leaders at [company]? Show titles and seniority. Don't reveal anything yet."

  • "Run Suggested People for [company] and show me who it picks and why." (Reveals up to 4 people, so up to 4 reveal credits.)

Reveal emails and draft outreach

Reveal only the contacts you'll use, and have the assistant draft a first email from what the company actually read. Nothing sends from Snitcher, you review and send from your own tool.

Good for reps personalising at volume: reveal only who you'll use, then draft first emails grounded in each company's activity.

  • "Reveal emails for the top 3 people on that list." (1 reveal credit per email.)

  • "Take the five most active companies in my ICP + Intent segment this week and draft a short email for each based on what they read. I'll review before sending."
Make it recurring: add "Do this each morning and leave the drafts for me to review."

  • "For each new intent lead today, check whether they're already a customer in our CRM; for the rest, draft a first email that references what the company was looking at."

Keep your list clean and your team in the loop

Good for keeping the inbox usable and handing off: tag, sync and share in bulk so nobody double-works an account.

💡 Tag, annotate and hand off, in bulk.

  • "Tag every company on this list as Not qualified: [list]."

  • "Tag [company] as 'In sequence' so we don't contact them twice."

  • "Add a note to [company]: visited pricing twice this week, decision-maker identified."

  • "Sync these 8 companies to our CRM: [list]. Tell me which ones already exist there."

  • "Share the three hottest companies from this morning's list to our #leads channel."

See what's working

Good for marketers judging spend: see which companies a campaign or channel actually brought in, and whether they fit.

Look past clicks to which companies a campaign or channel actually brought in, and whether they fit.

  • "Which companies came in from the campaign [name] in the last 7 days and spent more than a minute on the site? Group them by ICP tier."

  • "Compare last week's visitors from paid social versus paid search: how many were A+ or A, and what did they read?"

  • "Build me a traffic-quality summary for last month: visitors by channel, how many were in our target countries, and what share were A+ or A."
Make it recurring: add "Send me this on the first of every month for the month just gone."

Good to know

  • Test before you automate. Try a new segment, persona or scorecard against a few companies you know well before you rely on it or schedule it.

  • Connecting may need an admin. Some AI accounts (enterprise Copilot, ChatGPT developer settings) need IT, security or a workspace admin to approve the connector first.

  • It only ever reads what you can see. The assistant works within your own Snitcher access, and only touches the companies and data already in your workspace.
