Identify website visitors and sync them to Attio automatically

Overview

Snitcher identifies anonymous website visitors so B2B teams can convert high-intent traffic the moment it lands.

Most businesses never see 98% of their web traffic. Snitcher helps teams turn it into pipeline by identifying key accounts, enriching them instantly, and triggering the right actions at exactly the right moment.

With the Snitcher + Attio integration, those identified companies, contacts (when available), and engagement signals sync directly into Attio, so your team can act fast—without manual entry.

What you get:

• Automatic company creation and updates in Attio

• Enriched firmographic data: company name, domain, industry, size, and location

• Website engagement metrics: sessions, page views, first and last visit, and time on site

• Contact data (where available): name, email, title, LinkedIn

• Full control over field mapping, including custom Attio attributes

If your site drives traffic, it’s already generating signals. Snitcher and Attio make sure they end up where your team works.

How it works

Snitcher identifies companies visiting your website and syncs that data into Attio automatically.

1. Identify visitors

Snitcher’s tracking script captures visits and resolves the visiting company using IP-to-company matching. We enrich that data with firmographics like industry, size, and location.

2. Sync to Attio

As soon as a company is identified, Snitcher creates or updates the matching record in Attio. No duplicates, no manual entry.

Data synced to Attio:

Organizations (companies)

- Company name and domain

- Industry, size, location

- Engagement metrics (sessions, page views, time on site)

- Visit history (first and last visit)

- Snitcher segments and tags

- Link back to the company in Snitcher

Contacts (people, when available)

- Full name and email

- Job title

- LinkedIn profile

- Automatically linked to their company in Attio

3. Duplicate handling

Companies match on domain, contacts on email. When a match exists, Snitcher updates it instead of creating a new record.

4. Field mapping

Choose how Snitcher data maps to Attio attributes—including custom fields—and define what updates every sync versus on record creation.

5. Real-time updates

Data flows as soon as visitors are identified, keeping Attio aligned with live activity on your site.

Configuration

Setting up the Snitcher integration with Attio takes minutes.

Prerequisites

- A Snitcher account with the tracking script installed

- An Attio account with permission to authorize integrations

Step 1: Connect your accounts

1. Log in to Snitcher

2. Go to Settings → Integrations

3. Select Attio and click Connect

4. Authorize the connection in Attio

5. Return to Snitcher to finish setup

Step 2: Configure mappings

- Organization mappings: Choose which company fields (name, domain, industry, size, location) sync to Attio.

- Contact mappings: Map contact data like name, email, title, and LinkedIn.

- Custom fields: Add Snitcher-specific fields like Total Sessions or Last Visit Date to Attio.

- Write policies: Decide whether fields update on every sync or only when first created.

Step 3: Select entities to sync

- Organizations

- Contacts (when available)

Step 4: Apply filters (optional)

Control what syncs—for example:

- Specific Snitcher segments

- Companies with high engagement

- Certain industries or regions

Step 5: Save and activate

Once saved, Snitcher starts syncing to Attio immediately.

Ongoing

- Monitor sync health from Snitcher’s integration dashboard

- Adjust mappings anytime

- Pause or disable sync if needed
