This guide covers:
✅ Sending new leads to Microsoft Teams
✅ Updating individual team members
✅ Sending high intent visits to Teams
✅ Spotting new opportunities
✅ Notifications on old or lost deals
If you haven't already, it's a good idea to set up Segments and Stages to get the most from Snitcher and Teams.
You’ll also need to know how to use Automations.
🚨 Important note about Teams permissions:
Microsoft Teams has a limitation where only the channels that the user who connected the integration has access to will be available in Snitcher.
For example:
If one user connects Teams but only has access to a single channel, then that’s the only channel visible in Snitcher, even for other users.
👉 To avoid issues, we recommend that the person connecting Teams has access to all the relevant channels needed by your team.
Segments that work best with Microsoft Teams
1️⃣ Segment of new ideal leads + high intent + relevant Teams channel
2️⃣ Individual reps' leads + individual Teams channel
3️⃣ Lost or old deal Segment + team or individual Teams channel
4️⃣ Customers + team Teams channel
Sending leads to Teams manually
Send individual leads to Microsoft Teams manually, using the Company Actions button 👇
Sending new leads to Teams with Automations
Let’s start with an example: sending new High Intent Ideal Leads to Teams 👇
Step 1: Create the relevant Microsoft Teams channel, e.g. "To Qualify" or "New ICP Leads".
Step 2: Configure an automation to send new leads entering the Segment to that Teams channel.
Sending new visits to Teams
For leads already in play (e.g. Opportunity, Deal, or Lost stages), visit notifications can be sent through to Teams 👇
You can notify individual contributors in their personal channels or share updates at the team level.
Step 1: Create the Teams channel you’d like to use.
Step 2: Set up the automation to send visit notifications.
🎉 And that’s how you can use Teams for Lost Deal reactivation alerts too!
💡 No native CRM integration? Use the Lists feature in Snitcher to import and track companies like lost deals or active opps.
Conclusion
We won’t repeat the steps for every possible combo of leads and visits—just know that once you understand the flow, you can mix and match as needed.
👉 Our team has a dedicated Teams channel for each key Segment or Stage in Snitcher and personal channels for leads each rep is following.
👉 We also built Stages for lost or old deals and sync these with shared team channels.
💡 Avoid notification overload.
The trick is to decide what’s important and who really needs to see it. If too many alerts go out, the valuable ones get lost in the noise.
As always, reach out if you’d like help setting this up or want to chat through ideas.
