When you're looking for potential leads or understanding customer behavior, using "AND" and "OR" filters is incredibly helpful. These filters let you sort through leads easily, so you find exactly what you're looking for without the manual work

What Are These Filters?

AND Filter: Use this when you want to see leads that meet all your criteria. It narrows your search.

OR Filter: Use this when you want to see leads that meet any one of your criteria. It broadens your search.

Using "AND" Filters

Think of the AND filter like a checklist. A lead only shows up in your search if it ticks all the boxes on your list.

Here's an Example πŸ‘‡

Filter: "Computer Software AND Visited Pricing Page"

What You Get: Leads that are both in the Computer Software industry and have visited your Pricing page.

Using "OR" Filters

The OR filter is like casting a wider net. You catch leads that meet any one of your chosen criteria.

Here's an Example πŸ‘‡

Filter: "5 minutes on site OR 5 page views"

What You Get: Leads that are either spent 5 minutes or more and site, viewed more than 5 pages, or both.

Combining Filters

Sometimes you need to mix AND and OR to refine your search. Here's how to do it without getting tangled up.

Here's an Example πŸ‘‡

Filter: Company Industry is one of 8 industries AND Company Size is one of 2 sizes AND Time on Site is more than 5 minutes OR Pageviews greater than 5

What You Get: Leads that are in any of the 8 selected industries and are of the 2 selected sizes that have spent more than 5 minutes on site or viewed more than 5 pages (or both behavioural parameters).

Quick Tips

πŸ‘‰ Keep It Simple: Start with basic filters and add more as needed.

πŸ‘‰ Think of Your Goals: Choose filters based on what kind of leads you're looking for.

πŸ‘‰ Try Different Combinations: Don’t be afraid to mix and match filters to see different results.

Using AND and OR filters is like having a superpower for finding the right leads and understanding customer behavior. Start simple, think about what you need, and experiment to see what works best for your goals. Happy filtering!
